One of the most known and most luxurious Hotels in Germany is the Hotel Adlon Kempinksi. It is directly located on the famous “Unter den Linden” street, close to the Brandenburger Gate. The hotel is visited by many a celebrity, all looking for a piece of luxury when staying in Germany’s capital.

The hotel was first opened in 1907 and today it is not only known for Michael Jackson’s unbelievable appearance when he dangled his little son out of the window on the fifth floor of the hotel: a whole host of famous people have graced the hotel with their presence, such as Albert Einstein, Bill Clinton, Pierce Brosnan, Justin Timberlake and many more. The hotel was built by Lorenz Adlon who made a big dream come true for Emperor Wilhelm II.
Due to a big fire in 1945 the hotel was nearly completely destroyed. The rest was demolished in 1984 and then reopened in 1997. Since then, there are a lot of tourists coming here to have a look at the iconic hotel. Nevertheless, the rooms are quite expensive for a holiday rental.

In total, there are 304 luxurious rooms and 78 suites with 6 of them having been made for people with strong allergies. The rooms are equipped with all the things you can think of: a marble bathroom, a make-up table, under-floor heating and even heated towel rails.
