Seattle Translation and Houston Translation Workers Discuss Their Differences

From a Seattle or Houston Translation workers viewpoint, there couldn’t be two U.S. cities that are more different from each other than Houston and Seattle. Of course there are some differences that are readily apparent, some of the similarities and differences are oddly interesting. In fact, most people have the wrong idea about Houston. Lets face it, most Americans have probably never been to Houston are likely to think that it is run by people like J.R. Ewing or the right wing of American politics. However, if you haven’t had an opportunity to spend time in Seattle you might think that there are internet tycoons and left wing extremists walking all around over the place. I hope that by reading this article you will learn that our two cities are much more similar than you might have ever believed.
About Seattle
I won’t bore you with too many details. Seattle is the most western continental state that borders Canada. A Seattle Translator can even drive to the US-Canadian border from Seattle in approximately one hour and thirty minutes. If you drive west from Seattle, you can make it to the ocean in about an hour and a half. However, Seattle is a port city. Seattle is certainly a cultural center. It is the 25th largest city in the US and it has a very diverse ethnic mix that includes Japanese, Russian, Korean, Chinese, German, Vietnamese and more. Seattle is also known as the Jet City due to the many Aerospace companies located in the area and its space needle. Further, both Houston and Seattle have ports, diverse populations and nationalities from all over the world. In addition, Houston also claims some very famous past and present celebrities like Howard Hughes, Beyonce Knowles, Alexis Bledel, Hilary Duff and many others.

So Close and Yet So Far
Whether you are a Seattle Translation worker or a Houston Translation worker, it is highly likely that you will complain about the weather. In Seattle, the sun never shines and there is the regular grayness in the sky that can often be depressing for some. In contrast, many parts of Houston sport a Mediterranean style and of course, the city gets lots of sunlight and warm weather that helps to keep things fun. However, the problem with Houston is usually very high humidity levels and an occasional hurricane scare.
